Following on from our earlier blog, posted Monday this week, 'SCOTT MARSH REVISITS REEF KILLER, BRINGS BETOOTA HUMOUR' comes a continuing statement story of power vs the people as Palaszczuk and the local police take on Scott Marsh, questioning his 'permission' to legally paint the Anti-Adani mural in Fortitude Valley.
On day five on his mural painting progress, within an hour of Annastacia Palaszczuk's mug appearing on the wall next to the life size columns of the Betoota Advocate article, Marsh was shut down on site by police officers and interviewed by two detectives from Brisbane Criminal Investigation Branch over claims of 'malicious damage' to the property.
Brisbane City CIB detectives also questioned continuously whether he had been given permission by the building's management (Bloodhound Bar) to use their building as a canvas, to which he quite obviously did.
"It's bizarre, I've been painting walls for 15 years and I've never had this happen before, it smells like censorship to me," said Marsh.
Stay tuned as the Reef Killer saga continues!
